Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of W Sherman St at 3:55 P.M. on September 19, 2022 for displaying an expired registration. One of the occupants identified themselves by giving a false name. Jerome Everidge Tennon, 37, of Paris, was later identified and found to have felony warrants out of Lamar County. One warrant charged Tennon with manufacture or deliver a controlled substance of more than 1 gram and the other warrant was a probation violation warrant on a possession of a controlled substance conviction. Tennon was booked and later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police responded 102 calls for service and arrested 6 persons on September 19, 2022.
