On Nov. 19, the department received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of NE Loop 286. Officers discovered a vehicle at the location which a license check revealed was a stolen vehicle. The two occupants of the vehicle were Michael Dewayne Johnson (38) and Heather Yvonne Crippin (46). Johnson was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor vehicle as well as outstanding warrants from an other agency. Crippin was found to be in possession of K2, Synthetic Marijuana. She was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Both were transported without incident.
On Nov. 18, Officers were called to the 3600 block of Summerhill Dr. in regards to Burglary of Vehicles. Two vehicles in the area were entered by a group of suspects who stole a wallet and two firearms from each vehicle. There was no forced entry and it appeared that the suspects were merely walking the neighborhood and pulling door handles to see if they could find unlocked vehicles. The investigation will continue.
