A multi-agency law enforcement operation unfolded in Honey Grove on Friday as the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team assisted Honey Grove Police in executing a high-risk search warrant tied to an ongoing narcotics investigation.
The search warrant, obtained for a residence in the 500 block of 1st Street, was associated with an ongoing narcotics investigation.
According to law enforcement, the suspect(s) were known and had a history of violence, fleeing and possession of firearms.
Due to the known risks and hazards the Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team responded to serve the warrant and secure the property and suspects alongside Honey Grove Police and Texas DPS Highway Patrol.
The warrant was executed quickly, successfully and safely with no danger to the public or the neighboring residents.
All individuals in the residence were rapidly detained and the target location was secured without incident.
