On July 23, An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Clarksville Street for an expired registration sticker. Upon contacting the driver, the officer discovered she had multiple outstanding Municipal Court warrants. The driver was placed under arrest on the warrants. She consented to a search of her vehicle, during which officers located THC vape pens containing THC oil. In addition to the outstanding warrants, the driver was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 2, Less Than One Gram, a State Jail Felony.
On July 23, Officers responded to the 2400 block of North Main Street regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, they learned that a physical altercation had occurred between two females inside a business. At the conclusion of the altercation, one of the females allegedly pointed a handgun at the other before fleeing the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
