Paris Police responded to a theft of a trailer in the 3500 block of NE Loop 286 at 10:16 A.M. on May 27, 2022. The victim reported that surveillance cameras caught a Chevrolet 2500 pick-up pull into the back lot of the business at 12:43 A.M. and steal a 2020 yellow Delco trailer. The incident is under investigation.
Paris Police responded to a burglary of a residence in the 1800 block of Neathery St at 2:52 P.M. on May 27, 2022. The reporting person advised that the victim had been hospitalized about a week ago and someone had burglarized the residence. The reporting person also advised that the victim’s vehicle had also been stolen. The investigation continues.
Paris Police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 3200 block of Clarksville St at 9:20 P.M. on May 27, 2022. The 19 year old female victim reported that she and her 26 year old boyfriend had been arguing and the boyfriend had pulled out a pistol and had threatened her with it. The suspect then fired the pistol into the floor of the residence and left the scene before officers arrival. No one was injured in the incident. The incident is under investigation.
At 12:50 P.M. on May 28, 2022, Paris Police responded to a burglary in the 300 block of NE 28th St. The victim reported that they had recently moved out of the house but still had a window air-conditioner and a television inside. The victim advised that someone had entered the residence through a window and had stolen the items. The incident is under investigation.
Paris Police responded to a burglary of a building in the 1300 block of NW loop 286 at 1:07 P.M. on May 28, 2022. The victim reported that someone had opened their rented storage building and had stolen tools and a drum set. The investigation continues.
Paris Police stopped a vehicle in th 1200 block of NW 19th St at 9:04 P.M. on May 28, 2022 for a defective headlight violation. The driver, 25 year old Zackery Wayne Byrd, of Sawyer, Oklahoma, was found to be in possession of marijuana nad methamphetamine. Byrd was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Byrd was booked and later placed in the Lamar County Jail.
Dillon Louis Fellors, 29, of Paris, was stopped in the 1800 block of NE Loop 286 at 7:31 A.M. on May 29, 2022 for riding a bicycle on the wrong side to the street. During the stop, Fellors admitted to being in possession of a marijuana pipe. Fellors was later found to be in possession of a small baggie that contained methamphetamine. Fellors was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Fellors was placed in the city jail awaiting transfer to the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police responded to a disturbance in the 1600 block of Fitzhugh Ave at 12:16 P.M. on May 30, 2022. It was reported that during an argument, a 27 year old male displayed a pistol. No one was injured in the incident and the incident is under
investigation.
At 3:20 P.M. on May 30, 2022, Paris Police met with the victim of a burglary of a motor vehicle. The 85 year old victim reported that while pumping gas into her vehicle, someone stole her purse out of the front seat of her vehicle. Before the victim could cancel her credit/debit cards, someone had used them for 4 transactions. The investigation continues.
38 year old Ashley Matilda Reagan Perez, of Paris, was arrested at her residence in the 500 block of W Sherman St at 8:47 P.M. on May 30, 2022 on a probation violation warrant. Perez is currently on probation for a possession of a controlled substance conviction. Perez was later placed in the Lamar County Jail.
Everett Henry Aker, Jr, 62, of Paris, was arrested in the 200 block of SW 2nd St at 11:55 P.M. on May 30, 2022 on a parole violation warrant. Akers was later placed in the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police responded to 292 calls for service and arrested 10 persons over the holiday weekend ending at midnight on May 26, 2022.
