On May 29, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of NE 10th Street in reference to a disturbance. While investigating the call, a female victim alleged that her ex-boyfriend strangled her with a rope. After the assault, the ex-boyfriend fled from the scene before the officer’s arrival. A report for Assault Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction, a Third Degree Felony, was completed.
Officers made 16 traffic stops, 3 adult arrests, and answered 80 calls for service during this reporting period.
