North Lamar High School’s three-year varsity soccer player Emeri Watson has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer for the Austin College Kangaroos beginning in 2022-2023. Emeri has played soccer since she was five years old, including locally for the Paris Soccer Association and club soccer in Dallas. She has been a starter for North Lamar’s varsity team since the tenth grade, playing forward and mid-field.
Austin College participates in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference at the NCAA Division III level.
“Emeri has been a great player and leader for our team and I am very excited to watch her excel for the ‘Roos over the next four years,” Coach Selena Davis said.
