On July 10, Officers were patrolling the 1300 block of Graham Street when they observed a male subject who they knew to have an active arrest warrant. Officers made contact with the subject and took him into custody on an outstanding warrant for Assault Family Violence. During a search incident to arrest, officers located a small plastic bag containing methamphetamine in the subject’s right pocket. The subject was additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1/1-B, Less than One Gram, a State Jail Felony.
On July 10, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of SW 7th Street involving one male subject and two female subjects. During the investigation, one female alleged that the male subject had assaulted her, identified as her ex-boyfriend. The second female alleged that the other female cut her with a knife during the altercation. The incident remains under investigation.
On July 10, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of East Provine Street. During the investigation, officers learned that a male subject allegedly threw rocks at the victim. During the altercation, the suspect entered a vehicle and allegedly struck the female victim with it, causing minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
On July 11, Officers responded to the 1100 block of Belmont in reference to a disturbance. During the investigation, officers learned that a male subject allegedly assaulted his girlfriend by choking her. The incident remains under investigation.
On July 11, Officers responded to the 2100 block of East Cherry Street in reference to a burglary of a building. During the investigation, officers learned that an unknown suspect had forcibly entered a storage unit and stolen multiple items. The incident remains under investigation
