On July 1, Officers arrested Heather Mae Dunn AKA Heather Mae Jenkins 35 of Paris in the 2200 block of Polk St. while serving a search warrant. The arrestee had an outstanding warrant for Theft over $30,000.00 and less than $150,000.00. During the arrest it was found that Dunn was also in Possession of Marijuana and THC oil cartridges. She was also charged with the marijuana and THC possession and booked without incident.
On July 1, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1600 block of Clement Rd for an equipment violation. The driver identified herself as last Ross and gave a date of birth. A DL check revealed that the named driver was deceased. Upon further investigation it was found that the driver was in reality, Natalie Lashon Smith (48) of Paris. Smith was found to have an outstanding warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Parole Violation). Smith was arrested on the warrant and charged with Fail to Identify as a Fugitive from Justice.
Officers made 27 traffic stops, 6 adult arrest, and answered 82 calls for service during this reporting period.
