“We wanted to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication,” said Tim Anderson, general manager. “The gesture was made in honor of Officer Norris whose recent act of kindness touched all of us deeply. Officer Norris is the epitome of compassion and community spirit.”
The CoolCop Body Armor Air Conditioning device works with patrol vehicle’s AC vent to deliver cool air behind officer’s vest where they need it the most.
The donation was made as part of Mathews Auto Group ‘Pay It Forward’ program which is all about recognizing and rewarding the everyday heroes among us, spreading kindness, and fostering a sense of community.
“Thank you, Officer Norris, and all the officers at Honey Grove PD, for your unwavering commitment to our community.”
