A man was rushed to hospital after being shot multiple times around 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon at an apartment complex at 125 13th Street S.E.
Paris police responded to the scene after reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers found 39-year-old Ketemya Hurndon of Paris seated in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.
Hundley said Hurndon was transported to the Paris Regional Medical Center by Paris EMS where he later died.
“Preliminary investigation indicates another person was seen in the parking lot talking with the victim shortly before people reported hearing gunshots,” said Hundley.
“A light-colored SUV was seen leaving the area,” added Hundley.
