The Lamar County Meals on Wheels recently had a very successful “Fan Drive” and because of that, the group is now offering free fans to households with children in the home who might be in need of them.
“If you are in need of a fan, have a child living in your home, and you’re a Lamar County resident you can make a request,” Executive Director Shelly Braziel said.
Requests for a fan must be made in person at the Meals on Wheels office, located at 1273 19th NW St. in Paris.
To make a request, the following documentation must be provided:
- Photo ID
- Proof of income
- Proof of residence
- Proof you have a child living in your home
