Paris High School Blue Blazes Band receive three outstanding awards at the Sunnyvale Marching Competition

The Paris High School Blue Blazes Band received three outstanding awards at the Sunnyvale Marching Competition: Outstanding Percussion, Outstanding ColorGuard, and Outstanding Drum Majors (Bryan Torres and Evan De la Garza).

The band received a 1st Division rating at UIL Marching Competition. 

The band was named Area Finalist in UIL Area C. 

For the second year in a row and in school history, the Blue Blazes Band qualified and competed in the UIL Texas 4A State Marching Competition.

Several students competed and five earned highly coveted spots in the TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) Region 4 All-Region Band including Lily Hobbs, Brooke Fuller, Prithvi Patel, Lisandro Hernandez, and Emma Napier.     Jeremy Seals and Quinn Andrews were named first alternates.

Displaying numerous trophies and awards on the front row (from left) are Carol Anne Starnes, Evan De La Garza, Ka’Dazsha Price, Carol Sanchez, Gloria McIntire, and Shalecia George. On the second row are Lisandro Hernandez, Brooke Fuller, Lilian Hobbs, Emma Napier, Rhea Tabora, and Bryan Torres.  On the third row are Prithvi Patel, Asher Andoe, Jeremy Seals, Nick Leija, Quinn Andrews, and Kampbell Wall.
