The Paris Fire Departments’ dive team was called out to assist Sulpher Springs Police and Fire Departments in a vehicle recovery at Lake Sulpher Springs on New Year’s Day.

Deputy Chief Randy Crawford, with Paris FD, confirmed that he, along with two members of the team, Josh May and Caleb Michael, assisted local authorities in the recovery of a stolen vehicle that was found by fishers using sonar.

It is believed that the 2001 Honda Civic that was recovered had been reported stolen from Greenville in February of 2008.
