The Paris Balloon and Music Festival is just days away and the Paris Police Department wants to remind locals that drones are not allowed within a 15-mile radius.
“There is an FAA flight restriction for a no-fly zone which includes a 15-mile radius around the fairgrounds and Love Civic Center.”
The restriction prohibits anyone from flying drones at the Paris Fairgrounds both Friday and Saturday night and also Saturday and Sunday morning at the Love Civic Center for the scheduled balloon launches.
“We are told there will be an FAA inspector on site (as we have had at previous airshows). We don’t want to see anyone lose a drone or face FAA discipline.”
