Donna Kay Schepis, 79, of Paris, passed away July 16, 2018, in Sherman, Texas.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Thursday, July 19, 2018, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM till service time on Thursday.
Mrs. Schepis was born on August 10, 1938, in Paris, Texas, the daughter of Floyd Kenneth and Eleanor Grace Herring. She was a member of Ramseur Baptist Church. Mrs. Schepis loved cooking, sewing, making floral arrangements and watching the Home Shopping Network.
She married Nino M. Schepis on December 20, 1957, in Wichita, Kan. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Alissa Schepis.
Mrs. Schepis is survived by sons, Kenneth R. Schepis, and wife, LaVonne and Mark A. Schepis and wife Marsha; grandchildren, Brittany Schepis, Bruce and Kay Schepis, Hunter Lee Schepis and friend, Ace Ingram, Matthew B. Covarrubias; great-grandchildren, Barrett Schepis, Kadence Schepis, Kristian Nino Schepis and a sister, Faith Schafer and husband, Craig.
If desired in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
