UPDATE: Traffic is moving in 82 both ways.
Two pickups were involved in a head-on collision early this morning on 82 east between Detroit and Blossom.
“One driver was care flighted to the hospital, both were injured in the accident,” said Blossom Fire Chief Jeff Stover.
Officials are rerouting traffic on 196 by the softball field downtown blossom, to downtown Detroit.
“The road will be shut down for a while and all traffic both ways is being diverted to Highway 271,” said Stover.
Lamar County and DPS along with Blossom, Faught, and Reno Fire Departments are all on the scene.
“Avoid the area.”
