The New Hope Center of Paris will host an ‘Open House’ event today as part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.

Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is an annual program where people come together across the country to draw attention to the problems of hunger and homelessness. Participating groups spend the week holding a series of educational, service, fundraising, and advocacy events.

“This open house is a great opportunity for our community partners to come and see what has been happening this year,” said executive director Tanteta Scott. “It is also a great opportunity to come and learn what New Hope is doing for those experiencing homelessness.”

Tours will be given between 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. and light refreshments will be served.
