Mathews Auto Group surprised three locals this week as part of their ‘Pays It Forward’ campaign.
The company gave Mrs. Peel, the Art teacher at North Lamar High School, a $250 cash award to thank her for what she does in the community.
“Mrs. Peel ensures that her students have the supplies and support they need for success,” said Mathew’s Auto Group’s General Manager Tim Anderson. “She works diligently on the events downtown during the holidays to spread joy in the community through her art. Thank you for all that you do and for letting us be a part of this.”
Next, the team stopped in at Paris Children’s Dentistry to deliver several trays of gourmet desserts from The Wicked Apple to Dr. Shaneka Scott and her team.
“Earlier this month, Dr. Scott and her staff volunteered to perform dental screenings for the Lamar County Head Start students. Thank you for all that you do and for letting us be a part of this.”
Joe and Lauren Matthews, owners of iParis Cellphone Repair, also received gourmet dessert trays from The Wicked Apple.
“Joe and Lauren supply multiple students every year with shoes, backpacks, and school supplies. They also give first responders free snow cones at their stand in Paris. Thank you for all that you do and for letting us be a part of this.”
