Mathews Auto Group recognized two outstanding North Lamar ISD employees today for their unwavering commitment to their school communities, going above and beyond to support others. The honorees, Amanda Addy, secretary at Stone Middle School, and Perla McDowell, paraprofessional at North Lamar Intermediate, were celebrated for their dedication, positive impact, and exemplary service.
Amanda Addy has been lauded by her coworkers as a cornerstone of Stone Middle School. “Amanda consistently goes above and beyond, handling every request with a great attitude and attentiveness,” shared one colleague. “She’s always helpful, courteous, and quick to address any questions or problems, making sure I’m informed every step of the way. Her support and positivity make her truly awesome!” Amanda’s exceptional commitment and warmth have made her an indispensable part of the Stone Middle School team.
Perla McDowell is equally valued at North Lamar Intermediate, where her colleagues describe her as “an irreplaceable asset to NLI, bringing warmth, positivity, and dedication to every corner of the campus.” Whether stepping in for lunch duty, assisting in study hall, or helping in the office, Perla approaches each task with a smile and a willingness to go above and beyond. Her coworkers note, “Her infectious positivity and genuine care for others make her a bright spot in everyone’s day, embodying the welcoming spirit that defines our school community.”
