Multiple units responded to a burglary of a residence after a homeowner was alerted by his security system that someone was inside the residence
Paris Police responded to a burglary of a residence in the 2900 block of Aspen Dr at 12:30 P.M. on February 21, 2019.
“It was reported that the owner of the residence was alerted by his security system that someone was inside the residence,” said Officer Curtis Garrett.
Police secured the scene and found no one inside.
“Evidence showed that several items were stolen from the residence including game boxes and jewelry.”
During the investigation, Paris Police arrested 19-year-old Seybian Rashaun Holt, of Paris and charged him with burglary of a habitation.
Most of the stolen property has been recovered and the investigation continues.
