Local musician Trey Rose announced earlier this month he would be appearing on this season of NBC’s The Voice beginning Monday night.

“I am so excited to finally announce that I auditioned for @NBCTheVoice! Keep an eye out for me starting February 25! #TheVoice,” said Rose.

Rose has a unique vocal style that many compare to the like of Rob Thomas, Gavin Degraw, and Marc Broussard.

While many might assume the Texas-based singer would favor a country genre, Rose is passionate about creating his own style of music and that’s what we’re expected to see this season

The Hugo, Oklahoma born singer, who is a local favorite selling out bars, has received rave reviews throughout his musical career including a stellar review from a Grammy Award Winning Producer.

“With a progressive, soulful voice, blended with a southern rock twist, Trey delivers! This guy really has potential,” said the Grammy Award Winning Producer Chuck Ebert.

Catch Trey Rose this Monday night on NBC’S The Voice or stop by Buffalo Joe’s who will be hosting a watch party starting at 7 p.m.
