Even with those of you looking to fill up that big truck that screams, “Texas Pride!” the local pricing shouldn’t leave as big a void in your pockets.

The cheapest he found was at Brookshire’s, located at 925 Clarksville St., for $1.96 a gallon of regular unleaded.
According to GasBuddy.com, you can find gas below $2.00 at Kroger, Cefco on Lamar, and Shell on N. Main, as well as Love’s on N. Main, and E-Z Mart on Clarksville.
However, not all gas stations are dropping their prices with the Shell on Lamar sitting at $2.15 per gallon and Phillips 66 on FM195 being the highest for $2.19 per gallon.
Statewide, the lowest gas price sits around $1.68 per gallon.
However, if you need to fill up you better not wait as experts encourage people to take advantage of the cheap prices while they can after a surge in oil prices over the weekend on the heels of a pause on tariffs between the United States and China.
