Linda Kay Ramsey Cole, 80 of Paris, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Heritage House.
Funeral services have been set for Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Claude Plunk officiating Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
She was born in Pinhook, Texas on November 7, 1942 to Emmitt Thurman and Beulah Bell Jordan Ramsey. She married Alvin Cole on November 18, 1961 in Paris. They were married for 51 years. She worked for over 30 years at Paris Regional Medical Center Labor and Delivery, where she welcomed many babies in her stead. She was always the rock of her family. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren so much. She will be deeply missed by all who had the chance to know her.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Chris Cole, Jr. and wife Riley, Colton Cole and wife Mariah, Chandi Bruce and husband Ryan; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Josie, Ari, Copper, Kendall, Reddie, Cole, Gracie and Jensyn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Cole; son, Chris Cole, Sr.; parents, Emmitt and Beulah Ramsey; brother, Grady Lee, sisters, Grace Smith, Willie Dean Shaffer, Dahlia Jenkins.
Serving as Pallbearers are Chris Cole, Colton Cole, Cody Compton, Jake Stringfellow, Josh Stringfellow and Jon Carico.
