The Learning Endorsements and Professions (LEAP) Youth Career Expo is designed to provide career information to 8th-grade students in Northeast Texas.
Eighth graders are now asked to select an endorsement during the spring semester, prior to starting high school.
There are 5 endorsements: Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Business and Industry, Public Services, Arts and Humanities, and Multidisciplinary.
The LEAP Youth Career Expo invites local employers and training organizations to provide professional insight and a “hands-on” look at various career options in the local job market.
