On June 12th, Lamar County Sheriff’s Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle south of Deport, TX in relation to an on-going narcotics investigation and seized over 200 grams of THC.
“Detectives located inside the vehicle over 200 grams of Tetrahydrocannabinol commonly known as THC,” Lamar County Sheriff Scott Cass said, “ with an estimated street value of over $16,000.”
Detectives arrested 27-year-old Kailee Elaine Wear of Deport, Texas for Possession CS PG 2 >=4G<400G, which is a second-degree felony. Wear was transported to the Lamar County jail where a bond was set for her at $10,000.
“The good investigative work by detectives stopped the sale and spread of these narcotics from getting to our streets and in our communities,” Cass said.
