A local family has been left devastated and struggling to come to terms with what no parent should have to experience after their 22-month old daughter unexpectedly passed away on Sunday night.
When Garrett and Jency Aydelott put Hannah Judith Aydelott to bed on Christmas night, they had no idea it would be the last time they would hold her.
“Hannah was the joy and life for her parents and her six-year old brother, Liam,” said family frien,d Russell Thrasher. “This tragic loss of such a young life has left the Aydelott family in disbelief and denial.”
Friends and family created a GoFundMe for the family to “assist with all the of current expenses and those yet to come as they slowly come to grips with what no parent should have to experience.”
Trinity Christian Preschool announced it would close early on Friday, Dec. 30, for the funeral.
“Hannah had been at Trinity Christian Preschool since she was an infant and touched the lives of many of our staff during her time here with us,” said TCP staff in a letter.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled a celebration of her life for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30th at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathryn Strempke officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Jency works for the City of Paris and Garrett works for Unruh.
