October 7, 1969 – April 27, 2026
Jesse Wayne Sanders II, 56, of Blossom, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2026. Jesse was born in El Centro, California, to Jesse and Ann Sanders. He was raised with a strong love for family, hard work, and the outdoors — values he carried throughout his entire life.
He began his career at Campbell Soup in Paris, Texas, before continuing on to Kimberly-Clark, where he dedicated 27 years of service. Jesse was still working there at the time of his passing. He was loved by everyone who knew him at Kimberly Clark and was known for his humor, kindness, and larger-than-life storytelling. He could make anyone laugh and never met a stranger.
Jesse proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, a chapter of his life he carried with pride and honor.
Above all else, Jesse loved his family — especially his grandsons. Being “Papa Jesse” was the greatest joy of his life. He treasured every moment spent with Brady and Brett, whether it was fishing, hunting, camping, or simply telling stories and making memories together. His son, Hunter, and grandsons were the center of his world, and the love he had for them was endless.
Jesse was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, survival camping trips with his family, riding the back roads in his Jeep with friends, weekend poker games, and the excitement of a little gambling now and then. He had a heart of gold, a soft and caring spirit, and a way of making people feel welcome and loved. His laughter, stories, and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Hunter Sanders and Hunter’s girlfriend, Jessica; his beloved grandsons, Brady and Brett Sanders; his mother, Ann McCain and husband Gary McCain; his sister, Sheila Ensey and husband Gary Ensey; niece Allison Ensey; nephew Jake Ensey; along with many extended family members and countless friends who loved him dearly.
Jesse also shared many years of love and life with his former wife, Linsey Sanders, and the two remained close and continued to speak nearly every day.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Sanders.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 30 th at 11:00 a.m. at Blossom Church of God with Rev. Benny Dollins & Dr. James McLeod officiating.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that Jesse’s stories, laughter, and love will live on through the many lives he touched.
