Jeanette Chafin “Jean” Weddle, 71, of Paris, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018, at her home.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery at Reno. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Weddle, the daughter of Charles David & Mildred Whitworth Chafin, was born Oct. 8, 1946, in Paris.

She was a member of the Highway 82 Baptist Church. For a number of years, she worked in healthcare as a caregiver.

On June 4, 1966, she married Mack Weddle, building forty-three years of family and memories before his death on Feb. 23, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carletta Wheeler.

Survivors include her son, Robin Weddle & wife Tina of Sumner, two grandchildren, Cody McMikel and Avery Weddle, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law; Cass Betenbough & husband Donnie, Kay Peek, Randy Weddle and Dan Weddle along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

Casket bearers will be Cody McMikel, Donnie Betenbough, Mike Hooge, Bryan Chapman, Kane Peek, Randy Weddle and Chris McCann. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Lamar County Humane Association, P. O. Box 8, Paris, TX 75461.
