Jack Edward Stubblefield 74, of Paris, died at 3:24 AM, Saturday, June 30, 2018, at his home.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 3, 2018, in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. Private family interment will be in Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jack was born January 29, 1944, the only child of C.J. and Elsie Evelyn Thompson Stubblefield. He graduated from Paris High School and Richland Junior College. Mr. Stubblefield married Dottie Richards on June 2, 1992, in Richardson, Texas. He was a banker in the Dallas area prior to retiring and moving back to Paris where he enjoyed being with his dear friends at the local Dairy Queen. He served his country in the US Army.

Survivors include his wife, Dottie Stubblefield; three children, Mika Reynolds and husband, Mark, Morgan Rippard, and Josh Stubblefield; and three grandchildren, Colton Reynolds and wife, Jennie, Chase Reynolds, and Sloane Rippard. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Bob Weddle, Daryl Berry, Colton Reynolds, Chase Reynolds, Mark Reynolds, and Mike Broughton. Honorary pallbearers are the Dairy Queen Coffee Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), 424 East 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128-6804 or the Red River Valley Veteran’s Memorial, 1025 South Collegiate Drive, Paris, Texas 75460.
