The New Hope Center of Paris recently received a $2,200.00 grant from Home Depot to build garden beds, as well as, all the supplies needed for a vegetable garden.
Cucumbers, squash, okra, tomatoes and much more will teach clients at new hope about gardening along with promoting a healthy eating lifestyle.
“Gardening is a great stress reliever as well as a way to have healthy food for your family.” according to executive director, Tanteta Scott.
Melissa Large, assistant manager with Home Depot said, “We are glad to have a talented team who was so willing to take this project on”.
New Hope Center of Paris works with individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness.
