Higgins Elementary hosted a special Science Day event on April 21, 2023, in celebration of Earth Day.
The event was open to parents of PreK 3, PreK 4, Kindergarten, and first-grade students.
During the event, parents were invited into their child’s classroom to participate in various Earth Day activities. Some of the different activities included planting seeds, making bird feeders, and creating Earth Day art projects out of recycled materials.
The young students were enthusiastic about the activities and learned about the importance of taking care of our planet. The event was a great success and highlighted the school’s commitment to teaching environmental awareness to their students.
