While the State Fair of Texas may still be 217 days away, the organization needs your help picking a new pair of boots for Big Tex.
Fair organizers asked people to submit their designs and received more than 250 entries for the Big Tex Boot Design contest.
The selection has been narrowed down to 10 designs and now they’re asking the public to vote on their favorite pair.
Voters are asked to judge to designs based on three elements: Creativity of the Design, Representation of Texas Pride and Design for Big Tex.
Voting will be open until 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. The winner will be announced within the following week.
