Gordon Lee “Buddy” Bolton, 78 of Paris, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018.
Graveside services have been set for Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Pyles Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Barnett officiating. No formal visitation has been set. Friends may come by Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home on Friday to sign the guest book.
He was born on October 15, 1939, in the Biardstown Community to Joel Raymond and Estelle Malone Bolton. He married Betty Moore on April 18, 1959, in Pattonville, Texas and was a member of Direct Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Bolton; children, Christopher “Chris” Bolton, Richard “Joey “ Bolton, Patricia Pridemore and husband Bo; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bettie, Jeri, JoAnn, and Helen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel and Estelle Bolton; sisters, Sadie, Dorrell, Margaret; brothers, Vester, Shorty, Hubert and Charles.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Austin Busby, Lil’ Buddy Bolton, Roby Pridemore, Payton Pridemore, Cole Pridemore, Ethan Pridemore and Bo Pridemore.
