Authorities have confirmed that missing 16-year-old Emma Stokes of Sherman and her friend have been found.
The Sherman teen and another 16-year-old girl, Anna Frankman, went missing on July 7 in Park County Colorado. west of Colorado Springs.
The girls, who authorities say are not related, were in what the family described as a mental health therapy program at the Institute for Attachment and Child Development in Little, CO, when they left the home in which they were staying.
Stokes’ parents were in Denver searching for Emma when she was found.
According to family friends, the two girls have spoken to their parents.
No further information has been released at this time.
