“Fish with a Ranger” this weekend, hosted by Cooper Lake State Park at the Heron Harbor Fishing Wall from 9-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4.
Ranger Alicia will teach the basics of catching fish to interested children. Children attending will be able to bring their own fishing poles or borrow one from the park, and there’s no need for experience.
Park programs are open to the public and free with a park entrance fee ($5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free. Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass).
No registration for “Fish with a Ranger” is needed.
