ANTLERS, Okla. – A felony arrest warrant is filed in Sequoyah County District Court for 27-year-old Lee King, the suspect in a double shooting last Saturday night in Sequoyah County.
King is facing two charges of Shooting with Intent to Kill and one charge of Maiming in relation to the shooting of two good Samaritans. Bond has been denied.
King was arrested yesterday afternoon in Dallas within hours of a tip coming into the OSBI tipline. Agents forwarded the information received to the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force who took King into custody without incident. He was booked into the Dallas County Jail and is currently awaiting extradition to Oklahoma.
The OSBI was able to reach thousands of people with important information about King thanks to all the shares, reactions and comments on our Facebook page and Twitter feeds. That kept the OSBI tipline number in the public and ultimately information was received through the tipline that led to King’s arrest.
