COMMERCE – East Texas A&M University department of athletics celebrated 67 current student-athletes and staff members that participated in May commencement activities this past weekend.
Sixteen student-athletes and staff members took part in graduate ceremonies, while 51 current student-athletes are receiving their undergraduate degrees. In addition, 26 former student-athletes returned to East Texas A&M to complete their undergraduate or graduate degrees.
The student-athletes were honored at a reception this past Friday morning, followed by the graduate commencement ceremony on Friday afternoon, while the undergraduates took part in the commencement ceremony on Saturday.
