Eric Don Brown was born on Sunday May 6, 1979. He was raised in the small town of Chicota, Texas but he had a big love of life. Eric found great joy elk hunting in the mountains of Colorado, running trot lines while camping at Pat Mayse Lake, and entertaining with family and friends at his well known crawfish boils. He was a proud member of the Masons and most recently was working to gain his pilot’s license. Eric had a deep love of life and felt the most freedom flying through the clear blue skys or crusing his Harley down the open roads. But it wasn’t just the outdoor thrills that made Eric special—it was his kindness, his playful humor, his huge heart, and his genuine love for people. He left behind a legacy of laughter, compassion, and unforgettable moments, and those who knew him will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. Eric’s life was a beautiful reminder to live fully, love deeply, and embrace every moment with a “crooked little smile”.
