Time to check your pantry: four types of Duncan Hines cake mix has been recalled due to salmonella concerns.

Duncan Hines parent company, Conagra Brands is collaborating with health officials in connection with a positive finding of salmonella in a retail sample of Duncan Hines Classic White cake mix that may be linked to a salmonella outbreak that is currently being investigated by CDC and FDA.

Conagra issued the voluntary recall for the Classic White cake mix, as well as, Classic Butter Golden, Signature Confetti and Classic Yellow. The FDA said there have been five reported illnesses due to salmonella, and some of the individuals ate the cake mix prior to becoming ill. Some also may have also consumed these products raw and not baked.
