Donna Nicar (Simms) 80 yrs old of Paris, TX passed away March 9th 2026 surrounded by love from family and friends. She was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to Eunice and John Simms on July 2 1945.
Throughout her life Donna worked many jobs ranging from driving busses, taking pictures at Olan Mills, running hotels, laundry mats and daycares, on top of raising her 5 children as a single mother. Donna was sure that if she did anything in life she was going to teach her children the value of a dollar and how to work hard for what you want and to be a provider.
Donna loved Glen Labeth the father of her children, they met when they were teens in school and raised a beautiful family together before choosing different roads, even though they weren’t together they remained close and she was at
his bedside in his final days when he passed in 2009 knowing a part of her was forever with him and promised to be with him again when it was her time.
Throughout life Donna was an amazing nana to her many grandchildren, and great grandchildren, she loved coloring and could sit there for hours and color a full book of pictures, spending her days caring for her loved ones, she loved outside, in the summer you could always find her in the yard doing yard work or watching the babies play. Anyone who came in contact with her loved her, she never met a stranger and could sit and talk for hours. She loved shopping, eating and getting her nails and hair done. She loved to cook and bake and made the WORLDS BEST BANANA PUDDING. She was the holder of all the secret recipes and cleaning hacks, the baby whisperer, she held many titles in life but the greatest of all was momma and nana.
She spent her last 2 yrs at Stillhouse with a community of friends where she was an avid domino and bingo player, roaming the halls with a variety of hair colors to always surprise the babies when visiting.
She is joining so many in heaven including her oldest child Charles Ray Labeth and his wife Tammy, her granddaughter Amanda, her great grandson Malachi, her life time best friend Glen along with her parents and siblings and many others that were waiting on her.
