David Wayne Waggoner, 58, of Reno, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 27th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Shane Oats officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
David, the son of Otis W. Waggoner & Willie Virginia Osburn Waggoner, was born Aug. 21, 1960, in Paris.
He graduated from North Lamar High School and was a mechanic, welder and construction worker. David was an avid hunter and loved riding 4-wheelers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Tim Ash.
Survivors include three sisters; Mary Harris & husband David of Clardy, Amy Jones & husband Jim of Clarksville and Candy Barnes & husband Bryan of Clarksville, nieces & nephews who were the light of his life; Carolyn Drake & husband Patrick, Melinda Oats & husband Shane, Steven Harris & wife Amy, Brittany Renfro & husband Zach, Michelle Gaither & husband Lonnie, Shane Sherwood & wife Niki, Jennifer Cavender & husband Matt, Dalton Jones, Devon Ash & wife Meghan, Joseph Ash & wife Jamie and Dakota Ash & partner Landon Gill, twenty-nine great nieces & nephews, five great great nieces & nephews and his “honorary” grandchildren, Timberly Ash and Noah Ash along with a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Joseph Ash, Devon Ash, Dakota Ash, Steven Harris, Dalton Jones and Kenny Risinger. Honorary bearers will be: Barry Woodall, Garry Gentry, Shane Sherwood and Jimmy Glenn.
