David Ralph Robinson, 78 of Paris, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
A graveside service has been set for Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Evergreen Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. The family will receive friends at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home before the service from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
David, the son of Ralph Robinson and Nellie Tribble Robinson was born on July 6, 1946 in Tigertown, Texas. He graduated from West Lamar High School in 1964. David was adventurous in his working career! He farmed and ranched for many years. He owned and operated B&D Pawn Shop, owned and operated heavy equipment with too many other job adventures to mention. He was always looking for his next opportunity.
David loved hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He had a gift to talk and loved to talk about his Savior, Jesus Christ, in return led several friends and family members to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. He was a member of East Paris Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Lou Robinson; children, David Russell Robinson and wife Stacy, Carolyn Robinson, Elizabeth Breedlove and husband Marc; sister, Sandra Denison; grandchildren, Ryan Robinson, Austin Breedlove, Regan Young and husband John; along with a plethora of friends; a special friend, Mishayla Brewer.
Serving as Pallbearers are Marc Breedlove, Ryan Robinson, John Young, Brian Robinson, Ray Matlock, Jr., Michael Daniels. Honorary Pallbearers are Austin Breedlove, Donnie Crutchfield and Jerry Hostetler.
