Danny Ray Winkler, 62, of Hooks, a former longtime resident of Paris, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his residence. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 11, 2019 in the Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Danny was born on March 8, 1957 in Vernon, Texas a son of Billy Rayford and Kathleen Allen Winkler. He was a retired Mason having worked for Sikes and Sons. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Winkler and grandparents, Charlie and Ruby Allen and Tom and Edna Mae Winkler.
He is survived by children, Jason Roth of Paris and Kassa Ashmore of Hooks; grandchildren, Rhett Ashmore, Addileigh Ashmore and Aiden Ashmore; mother of his children, Evelyn Winkler; mother, Kathleen Winkler; brother, Greg Winkler; sister, Diane Relfe and husband, Carson and numerous nieces, nephews and family.
