According to Cumby Police Department, police discovered 2 lbs. and 7 oz. of marijuana, several Xanax pills, an AR rifle, two handguns, body armor, and several boxes of ammo in a vehicle after a traffic stop on Aug. 1.
During the roadside investigation, Cumby Police Officer Talley “observed contraband in plain view and began a Probable Cause Search.”
Talley then located a duffel bag with “a large quantity of marijuana and two firearms.”
Talley the called Cumby LT. Robertson, who arrived with his K-9 “Amigo,” and discovered another firearm in the vehicle.
“Officer Talley completed his FTO training a few weeks ago and has already been making (an) impression on administration. Good job Officer Talley for keeping bad guys off the street,” Cumby Police Department said.
