The Paris-Lamar County Health District on Monday reported an additional COVID-19 case in a 75-year old male, bringing the total number of cases in Lamar County to 156.
As of June 8, Lamar County has 156 confirmed cases of coronavirus, however, 101 of those have recovered.
Of those cases, seven are considered travel-related and 149 community spread.
Additionally, there have been a total of 11 COVID-19 related deaths in Lamar County, eight are associated with the Paris Healthcare Center nursing home, one with Stillhouse Rehabilitation and Healthcare, and two deaths are unrelated.
The following are the age-groups of the confirmed cases.
Age 0-9: none
Age 10-19: 2 males, 3 females
Age 20-29: 6 males, 12 females
Age 30-39: 12 males, 14 females
Age 40-49: 5 males, 17 females
Age 50-59: 10 males, 10 females
Age 60-69: 14 males, 21 females
Age 70-79: 6 males, 13 females
Age 80 +: 6 males, 5 females
