Central Presbyterian Day School is preparing for it’s 15th Annual Christmas with Santa being held on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 2-4 pm.
“This event is the primary fundraiser for our school and we anticipate approximately 150 guests,” said Pamela Brown. “Christmas with Santa is our school’s most important source of revenue other than student tuition.”
Monies raised through this annual event help bridge “the gap” between tuition revenues and the actual cost to educate each student. In the past years, these funds have been used to pay for educational materials, new classroom shelving, playground improvements, indoor play toys, home dramatic play centers, etc.
There will be Christmas crafts, decorating cookies with Mrs. Claus and a visit from Santa along with light refreshments of milk and cookies at the event. Plus, you’ll be able to sing along to all your favorite Christmas Carols and there will be a hayride too.
Tickets are $5 per person. Pre-Sale Tickets will go on sale starting Nov. 18 from any day school student, staff member or day school board member. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the event.
