Bobbie Joan McDaniel Boulton of Paris, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the age of 93.
Bobbie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to many. She loved her family, always eager to take care of the people in her life. Bobbie was a devoted Christian who often gathered food for needy families in her community. On special days she would bless the church with a song in her unforgettable alto voice.
She was born on April 14, 1931, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Alvin Spencer McDaniel and Mattie Sur Meeks McDaniel. She married Raleigh Lloyd Boulton on June 1, 1968. The couple lived in Irving, Texas, and enjoyed 45 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2014. She moved to Paris and became a member of East Paris Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers, Clifton, Lamar, and Harold McDaniel; her two sisters, Naomi Ingram and Ruth Davis; a daughter, Sheila Jones; a son, Paschal Lloyd Boulton; Larry Wayne McDaniel, Leonard Clifton Ingram and a great-nephew, Freddie Smith.
Bobbie is survived by son-in-law Jim Jones; daughter Andrea and husband Pete Ostenso; grandchildren Ryan Jones and wife Amanda, Adam Jones and wife Christine, and Christine Tourtellot and husband Mickey; great grandchildren Hailey, Ashlynn, Luke, Jessie, Noah, Katie, Bekah, and Adam; nieces and nephews Linda, Sandra, Diane, Michael, Randy, Gerald, Carl Ray; and friends Therese Miller, Jill Jones, Sue Cutler, Nathan Cutler and wife Carolyn.
