Billy Mack Clark, age 77, went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2023, at his home in Powderly, Texas, surrounded by his family.
Billy was a loving husband, Daddy and Papaw. A hard worker, he accomplished anything he set his mind to do. He graduated high school in Abilene, Texas, and achieved a Certificate in Welding at PJC in Paris, Texas. He worked at Southwestern Foundry and retired from Walmart.
Graveside services are set for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Long Cemetery in Powderly, Texas, under the direction of Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Reger officiating. No visitation is scheduled at this time.
Billy was born in Paris, Texas on August 22, 1945 to Saint Joseph Clark and Edith Gertrude Bramlett Clark. He married the love of his life, Frances Kay Taylor on August 28, 1969 in Abilene, Texas, building 53 years of marriage.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, brothers J.C. and James Clark and sister, Paulette Sparks.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Julie Dawson and Lorie Parker and husband Kenneth, two grandchildren, Jordan and Sarah Parker, sisters Betty Pierson and Lucille Faulkner.
