Rose Mary Nabors, age 90, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 in Paris. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 11:00 AM, Monday, January 6, 2025 at the United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Robert Myre officiating. A time of visitation will take place one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
Rose was born September 29, 1934 in Lake Creek, Delta County, Texas to J.D. and Marie Oakes Watson. Rose married Don Nabors in 1952 and they built 68 years of memories before his death in 2020. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church for many years. Her career at Westinghouse/Phillips spanned many years before her retirement. Rose was known for supplying her specialty red velvet cake for just about every occasion. She loved antiques and painting.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Don, and son, Jerry Don Nabors. Left to cherish her memory are grandchildren, Melissa Bridges and husband Randell, Carrie Dearinger, and Jennifer Nabors; a daughter-in- law Barb Nabors and her children, Christian and wife Michelle Bearden, Mark Bearden, Brea Anna and husband R.C. Pitts, and Britty Motta; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Glenn Watson and wife Linda, and a sister Elsie and husband Greg Hughes; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
